Chris Medleigh has found himself. With "x-cluding the shapes", the Leipzig based artist releases
his second album in august 2014. Instrumental beat designs, sample collages that form structures,
repeatedly fragmented vocal parts arranged with urgency and substance. In the last two years
Medleigh investigated again and again the seclusion of the mountains and forests, the grounding,
the withdrawal from the high-speed everyday. This is to hear in the new songs. Was the debut "the
tree" nor a trip through distant lands, songs such as postcards, the new material is a journey into
the depths. Vast landscapes leave their images.
